Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a versatile and safety-focused Class 1 ADR Driver to join our specialist logistics team based in Warrington, WA2 7NT.
You will be responsible for the secure transport of hazardous goods, including lithium-ion batteries and solar panels, across the UK. You will be contracted to work 48 hours per week, Monday to Friday with the start time window of 05:00 and 06:00.

What you'll do on a typical day:
- A typical day starts between 05:00-06:00 with 12 deliveries to engineers in the morning, followed by a trunk run between our distribution centres.
- Safely transport ADR-classified goods (e.g. lithium-ion batteries) to and from customer sites.
- Carry out vehicle checks, report defects, and ensure compliance with company and legal safety standards.
- Follow ADR, Driver Hours, Tachograph, and Health & Safety regulations always.
- Accurately complete delivery documentation (ePODs, manifests, waste transfer notes if required).
- Provide a professional, reliable service when representing the company to customers and site contacts.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A full UK driving licence with category class 2 entitlement.
- A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
- Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- ADR Licence (minimum: Class 9 Miscellaneous Dangerous Substances, with Packages preferred).
- Previous experience with hazardous goods transport (batteries/solar panels desirable).
- No more than 6 current penalty points.
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years.
