Are you a Class 1 Tamper Driver looking for something a bit different? Do you want to join one of the fastest-growing logistics companies in the UK?
We at GXO are looking for a full-time, permanent, Class 1 Tramper Driver to join us working on the Toyota contract at Castleford. You’ll be working 48 guaranteed hours per week, Monday to Friday, covering the hours of 06:00 – 15:30 with occasional week-end work.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- This is not your normal HGV work – you will also be involved in loading/unloading and operating all types of MHE across various locations
- Delivering and collecting manual handling equipment on behalf of our customer (4 nights out in the week travelling across the UK)
- Visiting Toyota depots and their customers (inclusive of London)
- We’ll provide you with all the training that you’ll need to move and handle the various types of equipment
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
- A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
- Be in possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- MHE licences (desirable)
