Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Regional HR Manager to join our team for our Coldstore contracts across the UK. In this role you'll provide HR support and guidance, covering a range of people matters including first-line support, redundancy, TUPE, consultation processes, and employee relations.
This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00. Frequent travel is required with a base site available to choose from within your area.

We are looking to offer a salary between £55,000 and £60,000, depending on experience and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:
- You will oversee site-based HR activity and reporting, conducting regular HR reviews across your area and producing monthly HR reports for the HR Director.
- Provide expert HR advice and coaching to key stakeholders across all employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, absence management, performance improvement, dismissals, and appeals.
- Support formal consultation processes, including TUPE, redundancy, trade union engagement, and medical termination meetings, ensuring full statutory and company compliance.
- You will support and develop operational management capability, particularly middle management, promoting best practice, consistent application of policies, and effective use of HR SharePoint guidance.
- You will contribute to wider HR delivery and projects, including recruitment support, policy development, change initiatives, and ad-hoc activity that supports both the HR function and wider business objectives.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A strong background in a similar HR position, with an up-to-date understanding of employment law and proven involvement in resolving complex employment law issues.
- A pragmatic, solution-focused mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Confidence operating autonomously in a fast-paced, operational environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ideally CIPD qualified, or actively working towards CIPD membership.
