We’re currently looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join our finance team at our AkzoNobel site in Goole . You’ll support the Finance Manager with providing a fully comprehensive finance support function to the site, whilst maintaining a strong financial control environment to ensure accuracy and integrity of information. This role is being offered on a temporary 9-month FTC , working Monday to Friday, during office hours. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £35,000.00 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, cycle to work scheme, a workplace pension, and our continued focus on internal promotions, over 56% last year! What you’ll do on a typical day: Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly financial reports Assist with the month end close process, balance sheets and revenue reconciliation Preparing cross charges and liaising with other sites for approval to process these cross charges Creation of charging documents and raising sales invoices What you need to succeed at GXO: Completion of or studying towards a professional qualification such as AAT, CIMA or ACCA is desirable Past experience within a financial role within a similar business or environment High level of accuracy & attention to detail, with an analytical mindset The ability to work well under pressure and prioritise workload in order to meet deadlines We engineer faster, smarter, leaner supply chains GXO is a leading provider of cutting-edge supply chain solutions to the most successful companies in the world.
