Here at GXO logistics , we are looking for a permanent, full-time Warehouse Operative to join our team in Chippenham .You will be working on a shift pattern of Monday - Thursday 08:30 - 17:00 and Friday 07:00 - 12:30.Pay, benefits and more: Annual salary of £24,784.5024 days of annual leave (plus Bank Holidays)Company sponsored pension schemeAccess to our Happy App platform, offering a variety of high street discounts, a cycle to work scheme, cashback cards, a saving scheme and much more!
Career Apprenticeship scheme, development and progression, as well as opportunities for training such as Forklift, First Aid, Fire Warden, cross functionalWhat you will do on a typical day: Receive, locate, pick, and ship goods within a warehouseCarry out manual handling tasks as part of daily operationsUse FLT/HPT equipment as required (training provided where needed)Accurately process stock using computer systems for inventory controlMaintain high attention to detail to ensure accuracy across all tasksWhat you need to succeed at GXO:Reasonable level of physical fitness to meet daily manual handling dutiesConfidence using IT systems and basic computer literacyStrong attention to detail and accuracyWillingness to work in a warehouse environmentPositive attitude and ability to follow proceduresIn accordance with National Security Requirements all roles related to this site and contract are subject to the candidate achieving suitable personal security clearance. This is undertaken by the company once the selected candidate has accepted an offer.
