Transport Solutions Design Manager in Wellingborough

As a Transport Solutions Manager, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing innovative transport solutions that optimize operational efficiency and deliver cost-effective outcomes for our customers. This role combines strategic thinking, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement to support business growth and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Design and cost innovative transport solutions for new business and existing operations, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Utilize advanced modelling tools (e.g., Paragon) for network optimization, scenario planning, and feasibility studies.
• Analyse operational and customer data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities, delivering actionable insights.
• Prepare proposals, reports, and presentations for internal stakeholders and clients, supporting tenders and strategic decisions.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to implement solutions, drive ESG initiatives, and support AI-driven optimization projects.

What you need to succeed:

• Interest in transport modelling and network design, with proficiency in tools like Paragon and/or data analysis software.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, able to simplify complex concepts and engage stakeholders effectively.
• Proven project management capability, delivering complex solutions under tight deadlines while ensuring quality standards.
• In-depth knowledge of transport operations, cost optimization, sustainability principles, and emerging AI-driven solutions.
• Degree-level qualification (or equivalent experience) in Transport Planning, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management; professional certifications and CPC desirable.
