Here at GXO, we are recruiting for a Warehouse Shift Manager (Nights) to join our team in Avonmouth, supporting one of our new business wins! As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for managing and leading your own team, coaching, motivating and engaging them to create a great team culture with a strong work ethic.
This is a full‑time, permanent position, working a 3 on 3 off shift pattern, 18:00 – 06:00.
Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £47,250.00 per annum, and 20 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day
- Manage and lead the shift, striving to maximise productivity, quality, and efficiency across the Warehouse.
- Drive performance through effective monitoring of coaching and performance.
- Review all aspects of shift performance, identifying areas for improvement to ensure an efficient and accurate process.
- Lead the team on shift proactively to motivate high performance, develop positive engagement and good communication across the operation.
- Manage the warehouse training requirement and function.
