We are recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join our equipment management network. This warehouse supports the cardboard and plastic recycling process for one of the leading grocery supermarkets, Morrison. The site is a fast paced, diverse environment with plenty of development opportunities available.
You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an any 5 days out of 7 pattern, covering the hours of 06:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00. Choose what suits you best!
Responsibilities
- Accurately and safely load and unload vehicles with all customer equipment and waste arriving at the site
- Safely and efficiently bale cardboard and plastic waste
- Ensure a hazard-free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy
- Undertake any other duties commensurate with the position as designated by the line manager

- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive work
Pay, benefits and more
- Hourly rate of £12.21
- 10% premium for hours worked between 17:00 and 20:00
- 20% premium for hours worked between 20:00 and 22:00
- Overtime paid at 1.25x beyond 48 hours per week; a sixth shift within the same week paid at 1.5x
