Are you interested in building a career for yourself in Transport? Here at GXO, we are looking for a Transport Administrator to join our team in Thrapston, Kettering supporting our customer, Primark. Reporting to the Transport Team Manager, you will be responsible for general administration duties in-line with Transport legislations, company policy and procedure. This is a full time, permanent position. You will be working Wednesday to Sunday 22:00 to 06:00.
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £27,000.00 per annum (+ £5k Night shift allowance), and 33 days annual leave (including bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Assisting the Transport Team Manager with general administration duties in-line with Transport legislation, company policy and procedures
- Ensuring good standards of Health and Safety processes are followed by yourself and the team
- Regular communication with the planning department of any delays / lateness / issues
- Primary point of contact for customer enquiries / changes to schedule, ensuring these are logged accurately
