Overview
Join to apply for the Systems Administrator role at GXO Logistics, Inc. at GXO Brinklow, Milton Keynes. You will be responsible for carrying out the clerical functions of the warehouse and operate the computerised elements of the warehouse operational system to ensure the completion of all tasks in line with standards and scheduled requirements.
Responsibilities
- Effectively perform all clerical procedures assigned in the defined timescale, using the warehouse computerised system together with other programs designed to facilitate the Warehouse operation
- Process all departmental incoming and outgoing paperwork
- Resolve queries from the Warehouse and the customer
- Ensure accurate data entry in Excel spreadsheets for the management team
What you’ll do on a typical day
- Carry out clerical tasks in the warehouse and operate the computerised warehouse system in support of operations
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for departmental processes
- Provide reliable data and respond to queries from internal teams and customers
What you need to succeed
- Ability to work on own initiative and adapt to change with a flexible approach
- Numerate and computer literate, with knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Good organisational and communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
Employment details
You’ll be working on a full-time, permanent basis, with an “any 5 out of 7” pattern and rotating shift hours of 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00.
