Warehouse Operative in Runcorn

From receiving and storing products to picking, packing, and dispatching orders you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a Tuesday to Saturday pattern, covering the hours of 09:00 to 19:00. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Perform a range of warehouse tasks including picking, loading/unloading vehicles, and operating FLT and pallet trucks using RF systems, while adhering to safe manual handling practices
• Complete all required documentation accurately and on time, such as returns manifests and daily driver records
• Ensure operational standards and customer service requirements are met by achieving site KPIs and maintaining high quality performance in all activities
• Carry out housekeeping where required upholding site standards while following Health & Safety guidelines

What you need to succeed at GXO:

• Previous warehouse experience and Counterbalance forklift operating experience are both essential
• Good communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn new skills while working as part of a team
• A strong focus on safety and reliability, with flexibility to adapt to changing demands and shift patterns
