Responsibilities

  • Lead daily transport operations, ensuring smooth and efficient performance.
  • Drive compliance with all administrative, legislative, and security requirements.
  • Collaborate across departments to prevent delays and keep customers informed.
  • Manage and motivate teams, including drivers and admin staff, through coaching and development.
  • Oversee performance and safety, from tachograph records to accident investigations and vehicle defect management.

Qualifications

  • Detail‑driven and organised, with strong prioritisation skills and accuracy in all tasks.
  • Experienced in transport or fast‑paced operations, with solid knowledge of EU regulations and drivers' working time directives.
  • Excellent communicator and problem‑solver, confident engaging at all levels and working under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Tech‑savvy and adaptable, with strong MS Office skills and familiarity with transport systems (advantageous).

This is a full time, permanent position. You will be working Friday to Tuesday 14:00 to 22:00. Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of £35,000 per annum, and 33 days annual leave (inclusive).
