Here in GXO Warrington (WA5), we are working together with Iceland Foods and on the look-out for a Transport Administrator to join our fast-paced transport office. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on a Tuesday to Saturday shift pattern, covering the hours of 10:00 - 18:00.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a strong partnership with the transport functions and drivers to ensure regular communication is delivered.
- Record details of vehicle accidents and ensure these are escalated to line management.
- Drivers brief and de-briefing as well as data entry of statistics, customer reports and KPIs.
- Respond to customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a transport environment essential.
- Knowledge of transport legislation and European Working Time Directive as well as Tachomaster.
- Working with Food Safety standard experience preferred but not essential.
- IT literate, with excellent Word and Excel capabilities.
