Job Overview
Drivers Mate role at GXO Logistics, Inc. (Northampton). You’ll be part of a two‑person crew delivering on our Kitchens & Bathrooms contract with the passion for excellent customer service for Wickes.

What you’ll do on a typical day
- Support delivery drivers by loading/unloading heavy goods (e.g., furniture, appliances)
- Provide excellent customer service by handling deliveries, obtaining signatures and ensuring items are correctly placed
- Assist with vehicle safety checks and secure the load for transport
- Help find addresses, navigate routes and ensure correct delivery to customers’ homes
- Assist throughout the delivery and collection process

- Previous experience as a driver’s mate would be desirable
