Join to apply for the Drivers Mate role at GXO Logistics, Inc. An exciting opportunity for a Driver Mate has opened at our Greene King site. Please note that for this role the training will be completed in Northampton but our site will be moving to Coventry (CV3 4GA) in early 2026. Travel expenses for the training period will be paid by the company.
This is a full‑time, permanent role. You will be working any 5 days out of 7, with rotational weekly shifts of 6am – 2.30pm and 2pm – 10.30pm.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Support the driver to ensure the vehicle is loaded correctly and the load is adequately secured
- Assist throughout the delivery and collection process
- Carry out tasks/ reasonable requests as required
- Be responsible for reporting issues to customer care
- Take ownership of paperwork
- Support the driver with navigation as required
- Work as a banksman when required
- Support depot with the off‑loading and stowing of empty containers

- Previous experience as a Driver Mate or similar desirable

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, showing initiative and adaptability
