GXO is currently seeking a talented and driven individual for the role of Transport Team Leader, to work at our busy B&Q site in Doncaster.
You will play a key role in ensuring the efficient planning and running of the transport operation. This is a full time, permanent position, where you’ll be working on an ‘any 5 from 7’ shift pattern, Monday to Friday. The hours of work will be 22:00 – 06:00.

You will be paid a salary of up to £30,000 per annum, plus an additional night shift premium of 15%. In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. What you’ll do on a typical day
- Leading and working as a team to be responsible for delivering operational performance and the maintenance of site systems and operational processes.
- Ensure the efficient planning and running of the operation, including supporting people management processes and the management of a team of core drivers, agency and support staff.
- Effectively support the Transport Shift Manager to ensure KPI’s are delivered in line with targets.
- Work collaboratively with the management team to ensure optimum performance and efficiency, whilst building positive working relationships with direct reports, peers and 3PL’s.
