At GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Team Manager to join our busy Sainsbury\’s team at our Northampton site. This role involves working in a multi-temperature environment covering ambient, produce, and chill chambers.
You will be responsible for managing and leading your team, coaching, motivating, and engaging them to foster a great team culture with a strong work ethic. The working hours are any 5 days from 7 on the back shift, 14:00 – 22:00.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead operational activities during your shift to meet work plans, budgets, and KPIs.
- Drive performance through effective coaching and monitoring.
- Review shift performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Proactively motivate the team to ensure high performance, positive engagement, and good communication.
- Manage warehouse training requirements and functions.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience managing a large operational team in a fast-paced warehouse environment, preferably in food operations.
- Ability to lead continuous improvement projects with excellent planning skills.
- Strong communication skills focused on maintaining on-site engagement.

We offer a salary of up to £33,280 per annum plus a shift allowance of £1,944.80, along with 33 days of annual leave (including bank holidays).
