Overview
We are currently recruiting full-time Warehouse Operatives on a 12-week fixed-term contract to join our team in East Kilbride (G75 0ZZ), supporting our customer, Sainsbury’s. From receiving and storing products to picking, packing, and dispatching orders, you will be involved in all aspects of our warehouse operations.
You will be working 40 hours per week on a shift pattern of 5 days out of 7, between the hours of 14:00 and 22:00.

- An additional ÂŁ2.68 per hour is paid for hours worked between 18:00 and 06:00

What you’ll do on a typical day
- Picking and packing orders from a wide range of products, checking, wrapping, and palletising them for loading onto delivery vehicles
- Accurately unloading and loading vehicles according to established procedures and safety standards
- Deal with both goods in and goods out
- Participate in other warehouse-related duties as required during your shift
- Comply with all health and safety regulations within the warehouse
What you need to succeed at GXO
- Ability to operate MHE equipment – full training provided
- Previous experience in a similar position would be advantageous
- Good numeracy skills are essential to interpret data
- Flexibility and a “can do”, right first time and passionate approach
- Willingness to work in a chilled environment as required
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including lifting, pulling, and pushing
