Van Driver

Overview

Join to apply for the Van Driver role at GXO Logistics, Inc. in Mossend (ML1 4UY).

We are looking for a Van Driver to join our team. You’ll work days, on a full-time, permanent basis, with a 4/5 from 7 shift pattern. Start times are typically from 06:00, with some requirement to start at 04:00.

What you’ll do

• Driving a 3.5 Tonne high cube Luton van
• Click & collect store deliveries, with up to 15 drops per day
• Using Hand Held Scanners to provide real time updates to customers
• Daily vehicle checks to ensure Health & Safety compliance
• Deliver excellent customer service
• Accurately completing relevant paperwork

What you need to succeed

• A full UK driving licence with Cat B entitlement
• No more than 6 penalty points on your licence
• No endorsements DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 with a conviction date within the previous 5 years
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative
