We're looking for a Health and Safety Advisor to join our team supporting our Primark operation in Thrapston. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious safety professional who is passionate about creating safer workplaces, driving compliance and engaging colleagues to achieve operational excellence.
You'll work closely with operational teams and leaders across the site, helping to ensure the highest standards of quality, health, safety and environmental performance are consistently maintained. This is a full time, permanent position working ‘any 5 out of 7’ but predominately Mon-Fri on a 37.5 hour week.

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- Support the implementation and monitoring of Health & Safety policies, procedures and best practices across the operation
- Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments, identifying hazards and implementing effective corrective actions
- Assist with accident, incident and near-miss investigations, ensuring lessons learned are shared and embedded across the business
- Deliver engaging safety briefings, toolbox talks and awareness initiatives that promote a positive safety culture
- Support quality, environmental and compliance activities, including audits, reporting and continuous improvement projects
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience within a QHSE, Health & Safety or compliance-focused role, ideally in logistics, transport or a fast-paced operational environment
- IOSH Managing Safely and a NEBOSH General Certificate or NVQ L3
