Here at GXO Logistics, we are looking for a Transport Administrator/Shunter to join our team in Warrington. This is a full-time, permanent position working on 4 on 4 off shift pattern, covering the hours of 17:00 β 05:00. Please be advised this role is a mixture of both, transport administration and shunting duties.

What you will do on a typical day:
- Gathering information about deliveries and missed deliveries
- Ensuring the correct load/quantities are delivered to the relevant stores and all stock scanned appropriately
- Shunting in the yard including moving Class 1 vehicles off bays and then shunting Class 2 vehicles onto bays to be unloaded/loaded
- Supporting warehouse team with duties such as loading when/if operation required
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
- No more than 6 current penalty points
- No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements within the previous 5 years
- Previous experience in a transport operations environment is preferable inclusive of usage of TMS systems such as VITA
- Knowledge of transport legislation and European Working Time Directive is desirable
- Strong communication skills, and excellent organisation skills with an eye for detail
