Do you thrive on keeping systems running smoothly and stock levels accurate? Perhaps you can spot discrepancies before anyone else does? Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for 2x Stock and Systems Administrators to join our team in Daresbury. Our roles are varied and include some manual tasks within the warehouse as we continue to focus on providing an efficient service to our customer.

We have a full-time, permanent position as well as a 6 month Fixed Term Contract, both working Monday to Friday on a rotating shift pattern of 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00.

Pay, benefits and more: We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £28,255.50 per annum (plus nightly premium) and 31 days annual leave (inclusive of bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

  • You’ll be responsible for carrying out P.I. checks to maintain accuracy within pick faces/storage locations.
  • Identifying and reporting any stock discrepancies, taking appropriate action to investigate, correct and record using WMS and Microsoft Office and process inter-site transfer of stock to other sites.
  • Dealing with inbound deliveries, ensuring accurate receipt, processing paperwork, recording delivery information, raising any non-conformance issues and ensuring stock is put away accurately and efficiently.
  • Order release - rectifying any unpickable stock, pick face and location management to ensure system generated replenishments, amending the priority of orders and despatch routes as required.
  • Sorting of daily overspill both into the warehouse holding area and out of the holding area onto orders as they become available.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • You’ll be self-motivated, and will have excellent communication skills, you’ll be enthusiastic, fast learning and highly flexible.
  • PPT, LLOP or Ride On truck licences would be advantageous but not essential.
  • You’ll be PC literate and competent in the use of email and Microsoft Office.
  • You’ll be extremely accurate and detail conscious with excellent interpersonal, literacy and numeracy skills.
