Do you enjoy keeping things accurate, spotting issues before they become problems and supporting a busy operation behind the scenes? If so, this could be the role for you. Here at GXO Swan Valley, Northampton a fantastic opportunity has arisen for Stock and Systems Administrators to join our team supporting an exciting new customer operation.

You will play a key role in maintaining system integrity, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring stock accuracy across the site. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, contracted to 37.5 hours per week. We are currently recruiting for the following shift patterns:

  • Week 1 - Monday to Friday / Week 2 - Sunday and Thursday, fixed AM shift covering the hours of 06:00 to 14:00
  • Week 1 - Monday to Friday / Week 2 - Sunday and Thursday, fixed PM shift covering the hours of 14:00 to 22:00

What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Maintain accurate stock records and system integrity by updating and managing data within the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, ensuring physical stock matches system records and maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy
  • Support warehouse operations by scheduling inbound deliveries, monitoring stock movements and assisting Goods-In and Picking activities
  • Produce regular reports and analyse warehouse data to identify trends, improve stock accuracy and support operational performance

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Experience in a stock control, inventory or warehouse administration role, with knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems being advantageous
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to investigate and resolve discrepancies accurately
  • Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Excel and working with large volumes of data
  • A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently, manage priorities and communicate effectively with colleagues across the operation
