What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Produce management information to the agreed schedule, daily/weekly/monthly for all levels of the business - which then enables stakeholders to provide actionable insight driving strategic and operational decisions.
  • Design, create and maintain bespoke and ad-hoc reports in line with current operational requirements and project activities - you will gather and analyse data, then adapt it to present in a way that is appropriate for the intended audience.
  • Analyse large data sets to identify trends, issues and opportunities to support improvement plans.
  • Ensure reporting is accurate, consistent and aligned to customer and company requirements.
  • Support site performance monitoring including KPIs, productivity and capacity reporting.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support structured improvement projects.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Experience working with large volumes of data from different sources, adapting data to make sure it is fit-for-purpose.
  • A strong analytical ability and an inquisitive mind, with the ability to translate data into visuals and adapt visualisation depending on the audience.
  • Confident communication skills, to present information to managers and able to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders.
  • Confident MS Excel skills and knowledge of Power BI.
  • High attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
  • Knowledge of SQL and other analytical tools is desirable but not essential.
