What you'll do on a typical day:
- Produce management information to the agreed schedule, daily/weekly/monthly for all levels of the business - which then enables stakeholders to provide actionable insight driving strategic and operational decisions.
- Design, create and maintain bespoke and ad-hoc reports in line with current operational requirements and project activities - you will gather and analyse data, then adapt it to present in a way that is appropriate for the intended audience.
- Analyse large data sets to identify trends, issues and opportunities to support improvement plans.
- Ensure reporting is accurate, consistent and aligned to customer and company requirements.
- Support site performance monitoring including KPIs, productivity and capacity reporting.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support structured improvement projects.
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- Experience working with large volumes of data from different sources, adapting data to make sure it is fit-for-purpose.
- A strong analytical ability and an inquisitive mind, with the ability to translate data into visuals and adapt visualisation depending on the audience.
- Confident communication skills, to present information to managers and able to build rapport with a variety of stakeholders.
- Confident MS Excel skills and knowledge of Power BI.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to producing accurate, high-quality work.
- Knowledge of SQL and other analytical tools is desirable but not essential.
