Here at GXO, we’re working together with Waitrose and are looking for Class 1 Drivers to join our team in Leyland. You’ll be working on a full-time, permanent basis. We are currently recruiting for either a ‘4 out of 7’ shift pattern (40 hours) or a ‘5 out of 7’ shift pattern (47.5 hours), with the following available start times:
- 07:00 – 10:00 – Any 5 days out of 7 – 47.5 hours
- 10:00 – 13:00 – Any 5 days out of 7 – 47.5 hours
- 13:00 – 16:00 – Any 4 days out of 7 – 40 hours
- 16:00 – 19:00 – Any 5 days out of 7 – 47.5 hours
- 22:00 – 01:00 – Any 5 days out of 7 – 47.5 hours

What you’ll do on a typical day:
- On average complete 2 run outs of two deliveries per day
- Unload roll cages using a tail lift or back bench
What you need to succeed at GXO:
- A full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
- No more than 6 penalty points on your licence (no DD, Dr, DG, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT endorsements)
- An up to date CPC and Digital Tachograph
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work on your own initiative
