Here at GXO Crewe, we\’re looking for Class 1 Drivers across a multitude of start times to join our team. You\’ll be working on a full-time, 48-hour, permanent basis, on a Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday rota with start bands to suit you. The 24/7 site here at Crewe services three operations for TJX, and therefore the work will include trunking, store deliveries, and collections from vendors.
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently transport goods between TJX sites, involving collections from vendors.
- Adhere to all relevant legislation and company policies pertaining to driving, safety, and vehicle operation.
- Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure roadworthiness.
- Communicate effectively with the transport office regarding any delays, issues, or changes during journeys.
- Perform any other duties related to the role as required.
Minimum Requirements:
- A full EU driving licence with category C+E entitlement.
- A valid Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC).
- Possession of a valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- No more than 6 current penalty points.
- No endorsements such as DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC, or TT99 with a conviction date within the previous 5 years.
