If so, we want you to join our established MHE team at The Entertainer in Banbury.

You’ll instruct, test, monitor, reassess and mentor colleagues in the safe use of MHE, create all associated documentation, issue certificates of qualification and pass details to the site admin team.

This is a full‑time, permanent position on a 5‑day‑a‑week, 7‑day shift pattern, with work hours from 15:00 to 23:00.

£29,859.21 per annum, plus an additional 7% shift premium.

You’ll also receive 20 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays) and the option to purchase extra days.

  • What you’ll do on a typical day
  • Deliver MHE training in line with the accrediting body and onsite guidelines.
  • Act as an ambassador for learning, leading by example while providing training and continuous on‑the‑job coaching.
  • Keep up to date with the latest regulations and legislation relevant to MHE and H&S, ensuring new practices are aligned within the business.
  • Ensure all training is evaluated, recorded and maintained appropriately.
  • What you need to succeed at GXO
  • A current MHE trainer qualification and recent and regular training experience – consideration also given to experienced MHE operators who hold valid licences and wish to undertake a trainer qualification.
  • Previous warehouse experience and holder of Counterbalance (minimum), Reach, VNA & PPT licences.
  • Flexible approach to meet business needs and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong and accurate administration skills with proficiency in MS Office – Excel and Power Point.
