GXO are currently looking for an Assistant Finance Manager to join us at our site in Lutterworth, supporting our new contract, Scottish Gas Network. You\’ll assist in the effective management of the site finance department with all operational support activities including preparation and submission of weekly forecasts, P&L reconciliations, budgeting, and period-end reporting in compliance with corporate policies and deadlines.
- Completion of weekly and month-end management accounts to review with the operational management team
- Providing detailed analysis to the customer and the provision of monthly reporting packs, together with backing documents to support the financial charges
- Build relationships with key stakeholders and develop a deeper understanding of the operation
- Use initiative and judgment to support the leadership team in delivering operational excellence, challenging the status quo, and delivering maximum benefit to the business

- Proven experience in a similar management accounting role
- CIMA / ACCA student or AAT qualified or equivalent
- Experience in building strong business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with the principles of open book accounting would be beneficial

This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis, with hours Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00.
