Part-Time Bookkeeper

Salary: £15-£18 per hour (DOE)

Working Pattern: 3 days per week - hybrid - office and home (Flexible working hours)

We are delighted to offer a new role in Global Wind Technology Ltd for a Part Time offering a new challenge for our growing business. Following a period of expansion and strategic change, we are now looking for a proactive Bookkeeper to support our accounts department. This is an exciting opportunity to join a collaborative, flexible business where you can make a real impact!

  • Record daily financial transactions (sales, purchases, receipts, payments) in Xero
  • Maintain and update the general ledger
  • Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable
  • Assist with payroll processes (timesheets, hours tracking, liaising with external payroll provider)
  • Support preparation of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements)
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and expense analysis
  • Support with shipping and payment documentation (including international operations)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping or a similar finance role
  • Strong working knowledge of Xero (essential)
  • Good understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

This is a hybrid role, typically requiring at least one day per week in the Hillington office (preferably Mondays or Fridays for collaboration with the Admin Team), with the remaining days worked remotely and flexibility around scheduling and working hours (e.g. Additional hours of work for overtime is available but not required).
