Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum (depending on experience) + overtime

Responsibilities:
- Carry out repairs, servicing and inspection across a wide variety of material handling equipment, mainly forklift trucks and similar equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical/electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
- Identify and replace or repair defective parts and components as necessary.
- Maintain accurate electronic records of repairs and maintenance performed on equipment.
- Collaborate with other mechanics and technicians to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while working on equipment.
- Keep work area clean and organised, ensuring all tools are maintained in good condition.
- Carry out Service Inspections and Thorough Examinations to GN28/UKMHA standard.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Industry-recognised qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, etc.) or equivalent.
- Strong experience with mechanical, electrical and electronic systems.
- A valid driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- IT literate.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reside within a 25 mile radius of Connah’s Quay.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift Truck Operator’s License (not essential).
- Prior experience with material handling equipment or similar machinery.
- Prior experience with telematics and CAN bus systems (or willingness to learn).
