The Finance team at Gwent Police are looking for an experienced colleague to sit within their Accounts Payable area. The successful candidate will be dealing with all invoices received into the department, reconciling Supplier Statements, dealing with all email enquiries received, chasing up internal business areas in relation to overdue invoices and dealing with any post received for the Finance department. These are just examples of the day to day tasks. We also look to improve on current processes helping to streamline where possible and encourage new ideas/suggestions. This role would suit someone who is a team player, very conscientious and has an eye for detail. Formal qualifications would be preferred and encouraged. Study support would also be available alongside internal training courses.
