We’re looking for a full-time Product Designer – 3D Design to bring creativity and hands-on experience to our growing team in Camden Town, London. You’ll play a key role in the design and development of innovative new board games, toys, and consumer electronics — with a strong focus on 3D components and manufacturability. You’ll be involved in projects from concept through to prototype, working with brands to help shape exciting products that land in the hands of consumers worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Generate original concepts in response to client briefs, presenting ideas internally and to clients for feedback.
- Develop and refine ideas with a focus on feasibility, cost, and manufacturability.
- Translate concepts into functional 3D prototypes using SolidWorks, primarily working with plastics and other suitable materials.
- Build and iterate physical prototypes in-house using 3D printers, particularly the Bambu Lab P1S.
- Identify and resolve design issues through hands-on testing and feedback loops.
Must haves
- A 2:1 or above degree in Product Design or Industrial Design.
- At least 1 year of industry experience in a related design field (including industrial placements).
- A strong portfolio showcasing your process from concept to prototype — balancing creativity with real-world functionality.
- Hands-on experience with 3D printing, particularly with the Bambu Lab P1S.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks CAD. (Bonus points for familiarity with tools like Blender or Keyshot.)
- Competency in the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign).
- An understanding of manufacturing processes and how to design accordingly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a practical, solutions-focused mindset.
- Strong verbal, visual, and written communication skills to clearly express your ideas.
- A collaborative team player with the confidence to work independently and take ownership of projects.
- The ability to multi-task, prioritise, and meet tight deadlines.
