GVR Solutions are working with a well-established drylining contractor based in Kent, seeking an experienced Estimator to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of drylining projects to play a key role in securing and delivering high-quality work across London and the South East.

Key Responsibilities of the Estimator:

  • Preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for drylining and partitioning projects
  • Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation
  • Conducting take-offs and pricing materials, labour, and subcontract packages
  • Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain quotations
  • Identifying value engineering opportunities and cost-saving solutions
  • Supporting bid submissions and tender presentations
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, contractors, and internal teams

Requirements of the Estimator:

  • Proven experience as an Estimator within drylining, interiors, or related construction sectors
  • Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
  • Proficiency in estimating software and Excel
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tenders and work to tight deadlines
