Site Manager required in Surrey. GVR Solutions are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager to join one of our longest standing clients. They are a well-established main contractor who undertake structural and refurbishment projects in the education and healthcare sectors.
The initial project for the Site Manager will be overseeing a hospital refurbishment project in Surrey. The hospital was originally built using RAAC and is unsafe in many areas. Our client has been instructed to build support systems around the buildings using various steel systems/designs to ensure the hospital can continue to function. The projects span over a number of years and primarily consist of compartmentalised stripping out of entire wards, operating theatres and other departmental areas of the hospital, installing the steel support system and then subsequently re-fitting the associated areas with updated NHS standard equipment and back to its former glory.
Requirements for the Site Manager:
- Must have experience working on refurbishment or fit out projects in the healthcare and live services sectors
- Experience working for a well-established main contractor
- Experience working as the no.1 Manager
- Highly driven and have a good eye for detail & quality
