They are currently seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Order Processor to join their dynamic team.
The Order Processor is a vital member of the operations team, responsible for ensuring the seamless transition of projects from sales to production. The successful candidate will be tasked with accurately processing customer orders, verifying all technical details and preparing comprehensive job packs for the manufacturing department. This role demands exceptional attention to detail and strong coordination skills to ensure every order is right the first time.
Responsibilities of the Order Processor:- Accurately input confirmed sales orders into the company's manufacturing system, meticulously cross-referencing details against the final quotation and the client's purchase order.
- Carefully review and verify technical specifications from architectural drawings and schedules, ensuring all details such as door sizes, materials, ironmongery, and finishes are correct before production begins.
- Liaise effectively with sales, estimating, design, and production departments to clarify order requirements, resolve discrepancies and ensure a smooth flow of information.
- Update the job scheduler (e.g., Trello) with processed orders and assist in the production timeline to ensure project deadlines are met.
- Prepare and collate all necessary documentation, drawings and cutting lists into a clear and concise job pack for the factory floor.
- Proven experience in an order processing, sales administration, or project coordinator role, preferably within a manufacturing, joinery or construction-related industry.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a methodical approach to your work.
- The ability to interpret technical specifications and information from drawings.
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple orders simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills for effective internal coordination.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
