Our client is looking for a skilled Carpenter to join their team on a long-term basis. Due to the nature and quality of projects they deliver, the successful candidate must have a proven track record of producing high-standard work. This role will initially start on a freelance basis, with a view to becoming permanent once both the client and candidate are happy.
The Company: A well-established contractor based in Chelmsford, working on public sector projects, including:
- Hospitals
- Schools
- Health Centres
Location: All work is Essex-based. The company operates within close proximity to their Chelmsford office only.
Working Hours:
- 07:30 – 16:30 or 08:00 – 17:00
- Paid 8.5 hours per day
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Carpenter
- Own tools
- Enhanced DBS check required
- Ability to deliver high-quality workmanship consistently
Pay & Package:
- £200–£220 per day
- Van provided
- Fuel paid
