GVR Solutions are working with a specialist drylining contractor that operate predominantly within the commercial fit-out sector. With a strong reputation for delivering high-quality SFS framing, suspended ceilings and bespoke interior systems, they work with leading fit out contractors on projects across London. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are looking to appoint an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Responsibilities
- Preparing, submitting and agreeing interim valuations
- Managing subcontractor procurement, payments, and accounts
- Variations management and change control
- Cost reporting and forecasting
- Attending project meetings with clients and main contractors
- Preparing and negotiating final accounts
- Supporting estimating and tender processes where required
- Ensuring effective commercial control across multiple projects
Requirements / Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within drylining and/or commercial fit-out
- Strong understanding of JCT contracts
- Experience managing packages from £250k - £3m+
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills
- Commercially astute with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management
