Freelance Site Manager required in Cambridge. GVR Solutions are currently working alongside a well-established main contractor who are seeking a Site Manager to join them on a commercial refurbishment project in Cambridge.

Project details:

  • Commercial refurbishment – occupied building consisting of a Laboratory fit out, meeting rooms, canteen areas, M&E installations, electrical, ceilings, flooring and finishes, groundworks and hard landscaping
  • Duration: 26 weeks
  • Start Date: August 2026
  • Value: £1M

  • SMSTS
  • Full UK driving licence
  • CSCS Card – Supervisor level (Gold card)
  • First Aid at Work
  • Asbestos Awareness (Category A) – in date
  • Working at Heights training
  • Manual Handling training
  • COSHH Awareness
  • Fire Safety Awareness
  • Noise & Vibration Awareness
  • PASMA
  • IPAF
  • Temporary Works Awareness
  • MS Project Programme & the be computer literate for emails, etc. Will use the usual excel and word
