Senior Site Manager required in Bishop’s Stortford. GVR Solutions are currently seeking a Senior Site Manager to join one of our well-established main contractor clients. They are a growing contractor that deliver high-quality new build and refurbishment projects and they work across the commercial and public sectors in London and the South East, up to £10m. They are known for their strong focus on quality delivery, programme performance, and maintaining long-term client relationships across a range of construction schemes.
The senior Site Manager must have/be:
- 7+ years of experience as a Senior Site Manager
- Strong background in refurbishment and fit out construction projects.
- Experience working on high-end Commercial refurbishment projects in London
- Excellent subcontractor coordination and programme management skills.
- Strong IT capability: confident with MS Office, digital reporting tools and construction apps.
- Highly self-motivated, proactive, and able to use initiative to drive works independently.
- SMSTS, CSCS, First Aid.
- Clear communication skills with strong organisation and leadership qualities.
Key responsibilities of the Senior Site Manager:
- Oversee daily onsite operations and workforce.
- Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and schedules.
- Monitor progress, quality, and productivity.
