Site Manager Required in Central London GVR Solutions are working with a well-established specialist drylining and drywall contractor who are looking to appoint an experienced Site Manager to oversee commercial fit-out projects across Central London. The company delivers high-quality drylining, drywall and associated internal packages for commercial developments and CAT A/CAT B fit-outs. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a strong background in drylining, drywall, ceilings or commercial interiors who is looking to take responsibility for projects from mobilisation through to completion. Key responsibilities of the Site Manager: * Managing and coordinating drylining and drywall works on site * Supervising subcontractors and site teams * Coordinating with the Main Contractor, Project Manager and other trades * Monitoring progress against programme and reporting any issues * Ensuring works are completed to specification and the required quality standards * Managing site logistics, deliveries and materials * Carrying out regular quality inspections and snagging * Maintaining high standards of health & safety and site housekeeping * Attending site meetings and providing progress updates * Managing labour levels and productivity * Liaising with clients, consultants and other stakeholders where required * Ensuring project documentation and site records are maintained The Site Manager must have/be: * Previous experience as a Site Manager within drylining, drywall or commercial fit-out * Strong knowledge of internal fit-out and drylining packages * Experience working on commercial projects in London * Good understanding of programmes, drawings, specifications and site coordination * Strong subcontractor and workforce management skills * Excellent communication and organisational skills * A proactive approach to quality, safety and programme * Relevant site qualifications, ideally including SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid If you are interested in the Site Manager role then please get in touch
