Are you an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon looking for a supportive role where you can develop your clinical skills while maintaining a great work-life balance?
We’re recruiting for a Veterinary Surgeon in West London to join an experienced and friendly small animal team, with the opportunity to work across established local practices where required.
This is a great opportunity for a vet looking for a long-term role with a 4-day working week, no OOH and a supportive clinical environment.
The Role
- Full-time permanent Veterinary Surgeon position
- 4-day working week
- No OOH or on-call
- Light weekend commitment
- Varied first opinion small animal caseload
- Support from experienced RVNs and veterinary support teams
- Opportunity to develop your own areas of clinical interest
- Access to experienced vets with a range of clinical interests
- Support with more complex cases and clinical decision-making
- Access to a good range of equipment and clinical resources
You’ll be joining a vet-led environment where clinical development is encouraged and vets are supported to build on their existing skills and interests.
Clinical Support & Development
You’ll be part of an experienced veterinary team with a broad range of clinical interests and additional qualifications, providing plenty of opportunities for case discussion, knowledge sharing and ongoing learning.
Whether you’re looking to develop a particular clinical interest, work towards a certificate or simply broaden your experience, there is support available to help you progress.
The practice places a strong emphasis on high standards of patient care and continued professional development, with opportunities to access CPD and further training.
About You
We’re looking for a Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon with 2+ years' experience who is confident working within a first opinion practice and keen to continue developing their clinical skills.
You’ll ideally:
- Be an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
- Have at least 2 years' clinical experience
- Be RCVS registered
- Be confident with routine consultations and surgery
- Have a genuine interest in delivering high standards of patient and client care
- Enjoy working as part of a supportive team
- Have an area of clinical interest you’d like to develop further
- Be keen to take advantage of CPD and career development opportunities
