The predicted salary is between 28800 - 43200 Β£ per year.
We are excited to have 3 new full time posts to offer in our team of SLT Assistants. The post holders will join our existing team of 11 SLT assistants to supportthe work of the SLT department. The roles will involve working in local nurseries to screen children\βs communication skills, deliver language groups and train nursery staff. It may also involve supporting clinical and administration tasks for the wider SLT team. There will be an opportunity to develop your knowledge and understanding of communication development in children.

The Speech and Language Therapy department provides focused and clinically driven services across the community (Lambeth & Southwark). Our aim is to ensure clear delivery and development of services for the specific populations we serve, enabling smoother transitions, enhanced skill development across the team and greater job satisfaction.
We provide separate line management and clinical supervision to ensure strong clinical performance and development opportunities.
Main responsibilities:
β’ Screening children\βs communication skills in nurseries.
β’ Leading language groups in nurseries across the 2 boroughs.
β’ Supporting nursery staff to deliver groups in their nursery settings
β’ Supporting administration for the Early Years SLT team and other SLT teams for example: data entry, preparing resources, ordering resources, and various other admin tasks
