We are looking for Band 6 Podiatrists to join our growing dynamic team at Guys & St. Thomas' Hospital. These posts are hospital based within the central London Boroughs of Lambeth and Southwark. The post will involve wound care management and 2 days of MSK rotating quarterly with other staff. The suitable candidate should be self-motivated and have a broad range of post-graduate clinical experience.

Patient care takes place in both out and in-patient settings. You may also be required to occasionally cover our satellite clinic. You will be working within a team and must have good communication skills. There will be supervision and mentoring from colleagues for continual CPD, in addition to regular team meeting updates on Department and Trust positions.

The candidate will be managing a high-risk caseload and working closely within a multi-disciplinary team, using a range of advanced wound techniques in both in-patient and out-patient settings. There will be a 2-day rotational element for treating MSK patients. The candidate must be highly motivated and should be able to cope with clinical emergencies in a pressurised environment.

You will be supervising junior staff and be involved in teaching, taking part in audit/research. The successful candidate is required to be able to demonstrate Trust Values, the responsibilities of the job description, and person specification.
