Points & Salary: Point 5 (FTE £25,583 per year, approx. £15,030 Pro-rata)

Hours: Working 26 hours, 38 weeks per year, Monday - Friday, 8:15 am - 3 pm, finishing at 11:45 am on a Thursday.

Commencement: September 2026

About the Role: The role involves providing classroom support to a mixed Reception/Year 1 class. The successful applicant will be working primarily in this mixed class.

Responsibilities:

  • Work 26 hours per week, 38 weeks per year as per schedule above.
  • Provide support to pupils in the classroom, help plan and deliver lessons, support individual student needs.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Level 2 EYFS qualification (minimum).
  • Experience working with children.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
  • Highly organised, conscientious and able to prioritise workload.
  • Cooperative and communicates clearly with colleagues, parents and pupils.
  • Can-do attitude and initiative.
  • Flexible and professional.
