Due to continuous expansion and recent acquisitions, we are looking to expand our Estimation and Sales Team.
A key member in our Specialist Estimating Sales Team in developing projects, using our range of Cladding Facade and Architectural Fabrications materials from the initial enquiry stage through to customer placing orders.
Duties & responsibilities
* Accurately take off quantities from drawings and specifications.
* Prepare detailed and competitive cost estimates
* Maintain accurate records of all estimates and project costs.
* Liaise with clients, architects, and project managers to discuss project requirements and resolve any queries.
* Assist with the preparation of tender documents.
* Stay up to date with the latest industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of estimating processes and procedures.
Skills & Experience:
* Proven experience as a Facades Architectural Fabrications Estimator
* Strong understanding of Cladding Systems and Architectural Fabrications, materials, and installation methods.
* Excellent reading and interpretation of architectural drawings and specifications.
* A proactive common-sense approach to tackle problems and identify solutions
* Proficiency in the use of manual and estimating software
* Excellent planning, time management and organisational skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Highly organized and detail oriented.
* Confident Negotiation and Sales skills.
* Must enjoy and be able to communicate effectively and confidently
* Ability to build positive relationships with customers
