Are you a passionate Occupational Therapist looking for an exciting new challenge where you can develop your skills within a supportive community mental health setting? If so, we have a fantastic full‐time opportunity for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join our well‐established Adult Community Mental Health Team in the vibrant and multicultural city of Bradford.
As a service, we pride ourselves on delivering innovative, recovery‐focused interventions that empower people on their individual recovery journeys. Our approach includes a wide range of occupationally focused interventions, designed to support service users in achieving meaningful change in their day‐to‐day lives.
You will be joining a friendly, skilled, and collaborative multidisciplinary team consisting of Doctors, Occupational Therapists, Nurses, Psychologists, an Art Therapist, Social Workers, Peer Workers and Support Workers. Together, we deliver a recovery‐driven service aligned with our Care Closer to Home initiative.
Main duties of the job:- Manage a rewarding clinical caseload, working closely with individuals to support their recovery and independence.
- Deliver safe, effective and person‐centred rehabilitation, using your professional expertise to advocate for the people we serve.
- Bring your evidence‐based Occupational Therapy skills to a dynamic multi‐disciplinary team, helping shape high‐quality interventions.
- Play an active role in team communication, service development and continuous improvement, ensuring we provide the best care possible.
- Offer supervision, guidance and support to colleagues, helping to nurture a positive and collaborative working environment.
- Provide excellent practice‐placement education, supporting the next generation of Occupational Therapists.

Person Specification:Essential:
- Significant post‐registration experience delivering occupational therapy in hospital or community setting
- Experience working with people with a range of mental health problems
- Degree or equivalent pre‐registration award in Occupational Therapy
- State registration with the Health and Care Professions Council
- Access to own transport and current driving licence
Desirable:
- Community or inpatient experience
- Professional Practice education accreditation
