Guthrie House Care Home is located in Edinburgh's Liberton area and provides nursing care for up to 88 residents. A welcoming and well organised reception is at the heart of a positive care home environment. As a Weekend Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, residents, and team members, helping to ensure every interaction is friendly, professional, and supportive.
In this home, the reception role is about more than answering the telephone. It is about creating a calm and reassuring atmosphere, supporting day to day administration, and working closely with the Home Manager and team to keep everything running smoothly.
