Guthrie House Care Home is located in Edinburgh’s Liberton area and provides nursing care for up to 88 residents. Where every meal brings comfort, nourishment, and something to look forward to. You will be part of a supportive team that works together to provide nutritious, well-balanced meals that contribute to residents’ wellbeing and daily comfort.
What We Offer
- £15.50 per hour
- Contracted to 40 hours per week
- Working over 4 days
- Shift pattern 7:00 am to 6:00 pm
- Pension, onsite parking, paid PVG, uniform provided
- 5.6 weeks annual leave based on a full-time contract

What we’re looking for
You may already have experience working as a Chef or Cook, ideally in a care home or similar environment. A City and Guilds 706 1 and 2 qualification, or equivalent, would be beneficial, along with a Basic Food Hygiene Certificate. You should be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with the ability to organise your workload while maintaining high standards of food preparation and kitchen safety.
