WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Prepare and present exceptional desserts, pastries and sweet creations that reflect the GiGi standard
  • Prepare all recipes to spec and maintain exceptional section management
  • Produce all breads and doughs
  • Produce every dessert with precision, consistency and outstanding attention to detail
  • Prepare fresh components daily, ensuring every service begins with exceptional mise en place
  • Work alongside the wider kitchen brigade to deliver beautifully timed service
  • Maintain the highest standards of presentation, ensuring every dessert leaves the pass looking as beautiful as it tastes
  • Support the development of seasonal dessert menus through creativity and a passion for Italian flavours
  • Manage stock, minimise waste and care for premium ingredients with respect
  • Maintain exceptional food safety, cleanliness and organisation within the pastry section
  • Share your knowledge and support the development of junior chefs wherever possible
  • Take pride in every dessert, knowing it is the final memory guests take away from their experience

  • A genuine passion for Italian desserts, craftsmanship and exceptional presentation
