From keeping the kitchen spotless to ensuring chefs have everything they need, your work allows the team to perform at their very best. This is a role for someone who enjoys working as part of a close-knit team, takes pride in doing things properly and understands that the smallest details often make the biggest difference. What you will do

  • Maintain exceptional cleanliness throughout the kitchen, pot wash and back-of-house areas at all times
  • Ensure crockery, cutlery, glassware, utensils and kitchen equipment are cleaned quickly and to the highest standard
  • Keep chefs supplied with clean equipment throughout service to support a smooth kitchen operation
  • Assist with deliveries, stock organisation and storage, ensuring all products are handled safely and correctly
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment throughout every shift
  • Support the wider kitchen brigade wherever needed to help deliver exceptional service
  • Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety procedures with care and consistency
  • Take pride in maintaining equipment and reporting any maintenance concerns promptly
  • Help minimise waste by following correct cleaning and disposal procedures
  • Contribute to a positive kitchen culture built on teamwork, respect and professionalism

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter is helpful but not essential—attitude is everything
